Student (m/f/d) in Aerospace Engineering for a Master Thesis
- You will start with a literature study into the theory of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs), modelling techniques and existing studies related to fuel cell-aircraft integration
- Based on the literature study findings, you develop a SOFC model and integrate it into an existing Python tool
- Through your model, you investigate and determine the optimal SOFC system layout, operating conditions, performance characteristics and identify fuel and waste heat management requirements for the all-electric aircraft
- As you progress, you will write an English documentation on your programming contributions, analyses as well as your results and conclusions
- You are a student (m/f/d) in aerospace engineering or a related field
- You are proficient in Python and version control systems (e.g. Git) and have a good understanding of software engineering principles
- Reliability, preciseness, and self-reliance are among your strengths
- You are interested in target-oriented tasks and working in an interdisciplinary team
- You are a proficient user of the English language
